  1. This is a bit of general information for all you 'Networkers' out there.
  2. The following is a list of NIC's (Network Interface Cards) that the ACER

  37.     NOTE:  The IBM Token Ring Adapter II will not work at 12MHZ in the
  38.            5280 AcerStation.  If you choose to use the IBM Token Ring
  39.            Adapter II, switch the system speed of the 5280 to 8MHZ.  This
  40.            can be done by using the 'SPEED" utility on the ACER Utilities
  41.            Diskette shipped with the 5280.  Another way is to type:
  42.            CTRL/ALT/+ on the keyboard, where the '+' is the one on the
  43.            numeric keypad.
